The Predator

The first sketch in my sketchbook here on this blog. Whenever I post a sketch it'll be easier to view it again later on in the sketchbook page link rather then searching through older posts just trying to find it.

Another Elephant!

Sculpted another elephant. Left it white. Thought it might be easier to photograph?

I'm waiting until the weather gets warmer because I plan on spray painting it...Outdoors. But for now enjoy it in it's rare state.

First post of 2011!

The first illustration of the new year!

And my new years resolution is...Start sculpting! This is my first little guy I made.

 This is his better half.

 And his backside...My favorite.

I've been into animal figurines as long as I can remember. Such a good source of inspiration and spent a lot of money buying them...So I have to use them as reference.

But it's about time I start making my own. Going to keep the sculpting pretty rough and none of that smooth sculpting. Although I'm a fan of people you can do that, and what an amazing art that is. It's just not for me. Mostly because I would not have the patience for it.

2011...Hope your a good one!
Enjoy!

Rock On Baby Jesus!

"Rock on Baby Jesus"

"Can anyone tell me what Christmas is all about?!?…"

Luke 2: 9-20

An angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid; for see-I am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people: to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign for you: you will find a child wrapped in bands of cloth and lying in a manger." And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of heavenly host, parsing God and saying,
"Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace among those whom he favors!"
When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, "Let us go now to Bethlehem and see this thing that has taken place which the Lord has made known to us." So they went with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the child lying in the manger. When they saw this, they made known what had been told them about this child; and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds told them. But Mary treasured all these words and pondered them in her heart. The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, as it had been told them.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

This is probably my last post of 2010! And getting ready for a fantastic 2011 full of new posts! YEAH! So until then keep on Truckin' for Jesus!

(Will be painted sometime in the near future.)

My second post to Watercolor Wednesdays! I altered an already finished painting. I believe I posted the sketch to this awhile back but never the finish...My bad!

Here is the original sorry about that I must have gotten sidetracked with something else?

Photoshopped the birds outta there! Clothes line and clothes poof! And changed the background color to a more wintery wonderland. Enjoy!
