I don't know what keeps me going and being passionate about anything. I'm mostly speaking about illustration/story telling, and painting, and drawing. So I'm running on zero sleep worked through the night, got a lot done! Somewhere between 2:30 and 3:00 I begin to lose it, always! But I know if I can make it though that, I'm good! So around that time I was trying to find a new way to get motivated and finish at least one piece. Usually I'll look at an illustrator or artist I enjoy and get inspired that way. Tonight that just wasn't working. So I took a different approach...And Googled Motivational quotes. If you want something then go for it! I hope all this hard work pays off... :D Little less than a week to go!!! Da-da-duhhhhhh!!!!

I felt like I needed at least one edgy piece in my body of work. I felt like the time was right!
I needed to get out of my comfort zone just a bit. So rather than drawing cute, fuzzy, kid friendly characters I went with this...I feel like this should go into one of my "private" collections, haha. If I had one. :/. but for now I'd rather show all of you!

Everybody Meet Sam the Turtle.
So I'm working on a children's book, more so roughed out ideas and getting the characters on paper. But you guys already met Derby the sassy penguin full of attitude from his beak all the way down to his tail. So now it's time to introduce Sam the turtle! He's more reserved and shy and not up for confrontation. His shell is a nice hiding place when things get to heated!
There is one more character I still have to come up with. I'll keep ya posted!
